Overview

Sweepstakes Hunter is an editorial directory of publicly available sweepstakes. We help users discover, filter, and organize sweepstakes listings. We do not sponsor, host, administer, submit, process, or judge entries for sweepstakes listed in the app.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you use the Sweepstakes Hunter app, website, APIs, support channels, subscription features, and related services.

Information Stored on Your Device and in Your Workspace

The app may cache saved contests, self-reported Hunt Log activity, entry counts you manually record, sponsor-stated limit progress, daily-entry reminder times, winner-check reminder dates, settings, notification preferences, recently viewed items, and optional entry-planning details locally on your device. Optional entry-planning details may include name, mailing address, email, phone number, date of birth, age or eligibility preferences, and notes you choose to enter. These details are used for reference-only official-rules checklists, deadline planning, personal planning notes, and organization. The app does not submit this information, Hunt Log records, or entry information to sweepstakes sponsors. Hunt Log cannot verify sponsor receipt, successful submission, eligibility, or compliance with official rules.

When you use an authenticated account workspace, we store saved contest identifiers, self-reported Hunt Log entry dates and counts, statuses, private contest notes, logical reminder dates or times, and product preferences with the canonical account so they can sync between linked mobile and web sessions. Optional entry-planning profile/autofill fields, generated plan documents, authentication sessions, and native scheduled-notification identifiers remain local and are not included in workspace sync. If you enable browser reminders, we separately store that browser's Push API endpoint, notification encryption key and authentication secret, timezone, channel choices, a hashed user-agent value, and limited delivery history with the account. These records are used to deliver alerts through the browser's push provider, are not copied to another device, and are removed when you turn off that browser or delete the account.

Usage, Diagnostics, Purchases, and Logs

When you save or track a contest, we store its contest identifier and workspace activity with your account. This lets your saved list, Hunt Log, logical reminders, notes, and product preferences converge across authenticated linked sessions. Removing an item records a limited deletion marker so an offline device cannot restore it by mistake. Deleting your account removes the active synced workspace, subject to limited security, payment, legal, and audit retention described below. Web guides use current reviewed catalog facts when opened and never send workspace or personal entry details to sponsors.

When you create or use a web account, our account-authentication provider processes account identifiers such as email address, display username, authentication session data, email verification status, password reset events, and related security logs. Sweepstakes Hunter does not store plaintext passwords. A free web account does not require payment information, and paid web checkout remains separately controlled.

If you choose to link mobile paid access to a web account, we process the verified mobile account identifier, web account identifier, connection status and time, marketplace, paid tier, entitlement expiration or revocation status, and security or support-review events needed to create, protect, audit, disconnect, and troubleshoot that connection. The short-lived connection secret is used only to prove control during the linking flow and is not placed in the page address after the linking page opens.

If analytics or diagnostics are enabled, we may collect product usage events, app instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, screens viewed, filters used, saved-list actions, upgrade prompts, notification interactions, crash reports, performance data, and error events. On the public website, we record privacy-limited app-store button events: the selected marketplace, button location, time, and campaign tags included in the page URL. These first-party events do not include an account identifier, advertising identifier, full referrer URL, or the destination marketplace account.

If you affirmatively allow optional advertising analytics, the public marketing pages may also load TikTok Pixel. TikTok may then receive page URLs, campaign tags, browser and device details, IP-derived approximate location, TikTok cookie or click identifiers, page views, and app-store button interactions. We do not configure the Pixel to receive your Sweepstakes Hunter account information, locally saved entry-planning details, contest searches, saved contests, Hunt Log records, payment details, or sponsor-entry activity. TikTok processes this information under its own privacy terms.

If you subscribe to Pro or Max Assist, app marketplaces and subscription providers may process purchase and subscription status information. When paid web checkout is expressly offered, Stripe processes the payment through RevenueCat Billing. Those providers may process your email address, billing details, payment instrument, transaction identifiers, and subscription history under their own privacy terms. We may receive subscription entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal state, purchase history, app-user identifiers, and related transaction metadata needed to unlock paid app features, validate paid web access, prevent fraud, provide support, and maintain subscription records. Sweepstakes Hunter does not receive your full payment card number.

When the app or website communicates with our API, our servers, hosting providers, security providers, and logging tools may process technical information such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, request time, route, user agent, device or browser type, response status, error logs, rate-limit data, and abuse-prevention signals.

Support Communications

If you contact us, we may collect your email address, name, message content, attachments, screenshots, app version, device details, subscription status, and other information you choose to provide so we can respond and keep support records.

Categories of Personal Information

• Identifiers, such as email address, app instance ID, device identifiers, IP address, or subscription identifiers.
• Account information, such as display username, authentication session status, and password reset or email verification events if web account access is enabled.
• Commercial information, such as subscription product identifiers, entitlement status, and purchase metadata.
• Internet or electronic network activity, such as app usage events, API requests, diagnostics, and interactions with app features.
• Approximate location, such as coarse location inferred from IP address.
• User-provided content, such as support messages, feedback, screenshots, or optional notes you choose to send us.
• Inferences, such as saved preferences or feature-interest signals derived from app interactions.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and sync account workspace features, unlock subscriptions across linked sessions, prevent overlapping checkout, provide support, maintain app security and reliability, prevent abuse, improve source coverage and user experience, monitor feature usage and errors, comply with platform or legal obligations, and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, Sweepstakes Hunter, platforms, vendors, sponsors, and third parties.

Sharing and Disclosure

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the app, website, API, hosting, storage, analytics, diagnostics, security, notifications, support, and email; payment and subscription providers such as Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Stripe when applicable to your purchase; professional advisors; authorities or platforms when required or appropriate for safety, fraud prevention, legal process, or rights protection; and successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information. Optional TikTok advertising measurement may be treated as sharing, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. It remains off unless you select “Allow analytics,” and you can withdraw that choice through the “Privacy choices” control on public marketing pages.

Sweepstakes Entries

Sweepstakes Hunter does not prepare entry materials for submission, mail entries, submit entries, process entries, purchase entries, buy contest credit, increase odds, administer sweepstakes, or award prizes. Users participate only outside the app through each sponsor's official site and official rules.

Analytics, Advertising Measurement, and Privacy Signals

Core public pages work without optional advertising analytics. TikTok Pixel is not loaded until you select “Allow analytics.” You may later change your choice through the “Privacy choices” control. Choosing “Decline” prevents the Pixel from loading on future page views and removes first-party TikTok cookies that are accessible to our site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat optional advertising analytics as declined even if you previously selected “Allow analytics.”

We currently use TikTok Pixel for aggregate campaign measurement and app-store-button performance, without advanced matching or customer-list uploads. If we materially expand advertising uses or engage in additional activities that qualify as sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling requiring opt-out rights, we will update this policy and provide required choices before doing so.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Local app and browser caches remain until you delete the relevant records, reset local storage, or uninstall the app. Synced workspace data remains with the account until you delete it, delete the account, or complete an applicable privacy request.

Account deletion removes active account identifiers, connections, and the applicable synced workspace. The mobile app also removes its saved contests, Hunt Log entries and private notes, workspace sync state, entry profile/autofill, notification token and preferences, delivered and scheduled notifications, Founders checkout journal, reviewer session, and authentication session before creating a fresh anonymous mobile identity. Limited deletion markers, account-connection audit events, fraud-prevention, transaction or subscription references, security logs, and support records may remain as needed for refunds, stale-sync prevention, account integrity, and legal obligations. Those retained records do not restore a deleted active account or erased workspace.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No app, website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices

You can delete or edit the local entry-planning profile in the app, delete saved contests and Hunt Log records where controls are available, change synced product preferences and logical reminders, turn off notification delivery in device or browser settings, manage or cancel marketplace subscriptions through your marketplace account, disconnect linked access or manage an eligible web subscription through the signed-in account page, delete a web account through the account page when signed in, limit analytics where controls are available, reset your web-account password, and contact us to make privacy requests.

In the mobile app, open Settings → Account deletion. Choose Delete mobile account and data for a mobile-only account. If the mobile identity is linked to a separately authenticated web account, Remove this mobile account removes the mobile identity and local data while the web account and shared workspace remain; choose Delete entire linked account to open the full-account flow, which verifies the active web session before confirmation. You can also start at sweepstakeshunter.com/delete-account/. Full linked-account deletion removes linked mobile identities and the shared synced workspace.

Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple, Google, or web subscription, stop renewal, or create a refund. Use Customer Center or the original billing provider to manage renewal. An active subscription or completed lifetime purchase does not prevent immediate deletion; only a lifetime checkout whose final payment result is still unresolved may briefly delay the operation.

If you expressly link mobile and web identities, the verified paid tier and canonical workspace become available across linked sessions. Saved contests, Hunt Log activity, private contest notes, logical reminder intent, and product preferences may sync. Personal profile/autofill fields, store credentials, authentication sessions, generated plans, and native scheduled-notification identifiers remain local and do not transfer between platforms. An opted-in browser Push API endpoint remains specific to its browser even though its server record is owned by the linked account.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and whether a specific state privacy law applies to us, you may have rights to know or confirm whether we process personal information about you; access or receive a copy of personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; delete personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, certain profiling, or certain sensitive-data processing where applicable; limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable; appeal a denied privacy request where applicable; and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

To make a request, email andre@sweepstakeshunter.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity and request details before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer's identity. If we deny a request and your state law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

California Notice

This section is intended to support California notice-at-collection and privacy-policy expectations if California law applies to us. We may collect the categories listed above for the business and commercial purposes described in this policy and disclose them to the categories of recipients listed above. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. We do not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

Children and International Users

Sweepstakes Hunter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sweepstakes Hunter is intended for users in the United States unless we state otherwise. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Third-Party Links

The app links to sponsor websites, official rules, app marketplace pages, subscription management services, and other third-party services. Third-party services are controlled by their own operators and have their own privacy practices. Review each third party's terms and privacy policy before providing information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date when changes are made. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law or platform rules.
