Hi, I’m Andre, the founder and creator of Sweepstakes Hunter, based in Los Angeles.
Every year, I set aside a few hundred dollars to enter sweepstakes offering dream cars, homes, vacations, and other incredible prizes. I’ll be honest: I haven’t won the big one—yet.
But I noticed something changing. Sweepstakes advertisements seemed to be everywhere in my feeds, and more companies were promoting bigger, more exciting prizes. The opportunities were growing—but so was the amount of work required to understand them.
Official rules were scattered across different websites. Deadlines were easy to forget. Paid-entry offers were often advertised prominently, while free, no-purchase entry methods could be buried deep inside the rules.
I started wondering: Could there be a better way to find these sweepstakes, compare their published rules, track the ones I cared about, and quickly identify any official free-entry routes?
I wanted one place where I could:
- Search for the prizes that interested me most.
- Compare sweepstakes using information from their official rules.
- Save contests and organize my routine.
- Keep track of deadlines and entry limits.
- Find no-purchase entry options without repeatedly digging through pages of legal language.
I couldn’t find a tool that brought all of that together in the way I wanted—so I created Sweepstakes Hunter.
The goal is simple: help dedicated sweepers spend less time searching, stay more organized, and avoid paying entry fees when the sponsor’s official rules provide a legitimate free-entry option.
Sweepstakes Hunter doesn’t enter contests for you, guarantee prizes, or improve anyone’s odds. You remain in control and enter directly with the sponsor. The app simply helps make publicly available contest information easier to find, understand, and organize.
I also want to be clear about nonprofit-sponsored sweepstakes. If you believe in an organization’s mission and want to support it, I absolutely encourage making a donation. Finding a no-purchase entry route doesn’t replace supporting a cause you care about. Sweepstakes Hunter is about helping people understand their choices—not discouraging generosity.
